Nautilus-Società Cooperativa, has obtained, by the Ministry of Production, the approvation of project "HI.T.EX. Omega 3-Sviluppo di nuove tecnologie innovative di estrazione e concentrazione di omega 3" , by law n. 150300 del 20/03/2006, regarding the 2° notice for Measure 2.1.- PIA Innovazione foreseen by PON "local development" 2000-2006, for regions of target 1 (Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Puglia, Sardegna e Sicilia). The project began on 20/03/2006 and finished on 30/09/2008. In this period activities of research and development have been made. The result of this project have been the following work cycles:

1. The first to product omega 3 by fish meal to obtain oil, for transesterification of oil and convert the triglycerides in ethyl esters, concentration of oil into EPA and DHA, etc;

2. the second regard the extraction of essential oil by vegetable oil for SFE.
